Westside took a deserved lead through a nice free kick from Ali Barvas in the 41st minute but couldn’t see it through until halftime. Stephen Campbell capitalising on some poor West defensive play in the 44th minute to make it all square, at the break.
Second half and it was still a great contest which was hard to call until, Sam MacSween hit the post with a lob and and then followed on to the rebound to make it 2-1 to Point. A stramash in the six yard box with the final touch coming off Donnie Smith for an og made it 3-1 to Point. Late pressure from West was to no avail and Point seen it through to clinch all 3 points.
